The Happy Cup 2016/17--Rd 1 Deadline Friday 4 Nov @ 19:45 (or 12:30 Sat) 19:29 - Oct 19 with 1561 views

MFB and I agreed that these are a good first 6 (Round 1)... Round 2, also FA Cup ties, MFB selects 6... Round 3, I select those 10. After that it is one-offs and MFB decides on 10 fixtures for our final 8 (our quarterfinals).

Happy Cup Round 1 of 3 (6 of 22) group stage: (22 games and 3 rounds. This is NOT a one-off week)

The groups were determined at random impartially by MFB. The order is "out of a hat" besides the top 4 seeds, which I decided should be separated during the group stage.

Three rounds and 22 fixtures. Postponed games will be null and void. If for instance Round 3 we happen to lose 3-4 due to snow, hard cheese. SEE FIXTURES posted again BELOW

*Top 2 from each group advance to the Final-8. Simple as that. Then one-offs.

I don't think ultimately missing one game will be a huge turning point.

It's a three round comp with top two in each who advance.

So basically 21 more games to get a lot of points.

Complete update once MFB selects 6 following tonight's Round 2 draw.

But here is a brief overview:

In group 3, WESSEX_EXILE with a massive 9 points (2 spot-on)

Group 4, BASHER2010 collected 6 points to be the early leader

Group 1, ETHICSGIRL is tops with 6 points

Group 2, super competitive: NOAH4X4 (one of two with 2 spot-on), GATE16 and SEVEBALO each with 6 points.

*First of three tables--and next 6 fixtures--to be posted late Tuesday or Wednesday, I would think.

I have our next six (MFB has selected them) but the deadline, as explained, has yet to be determined as there may be Friday, early Saturday, Sunday ties.
