MFB_CUFC's 8-1 for 11 points is now the high standard, narrowing the gap on THRILLSEEKER whose 7-2 and 9 points was still an outstanding tally... I also had a very good week (6-3, 9 points), as did RSCOSWORTH, who achieved 7-2 for 9 points... BROMLEYU with an impressive 6-3 and 8 points... DURHAM_EXILE (5-4) and TINJAKE (4-5) had to make due with 6 points...

... Notable: Thrillseeker was the only one to predict the Colts to win at Green Bay; only mfb_cufc and I managed to get all three 2-pointers correct.

I'm having a surprisingly good season and since MFB selected these 9, I'm compelled to post early.

In about a decade, I've never ever won the title... (speaking of which, this season the PL goes all the way through to the AFC and NFC championship games.. No Superb Owl playoff.. that game is just watch and make picks like over/under, point spread, most passing yards, most rushing yards, etc...)

I see where you're going with that. Those 9 could be spot-on.

I so wanted to pick the Steelers because that's a game in rowdy Steel City, but the verdict is still out about Ben Roethlisberger. Rookie quarterback or not, Cowboys at the moment look hard to beat.

I like it.

The number of points per week is misleading. And you smartly played a few that could net you 1-3 more than others.

This is a very tight race. RSCOSWORTH and BROMLEYU have very good pick percentages. Anytime they catch someone on points they have the tie-breaker that week. We'll see.

Let me be honest.

NFL ratings are down by about 5-10% depending on the market so far.

Obviously not down in New York, Washington DC, Dallas, Green Bay, Chicago, Seattle.. I can name some others.

Like Boston too, "Massachusetts ," the Patriots... Trust me, even a 70 year old can't spell Mass except to write "Mass" on an envelope.

TOO MANY COMMERCIAL BREAKS!! .. I have to cough, ok, here is an advert. Video review, 2 minutes of ads. "Officials break,' two minutes.

The NFL product is becoming cannibalized due to the fact it stops over and over and over again.
