Week 26 Results CARDIFF 0 NORWICH 1 Norwich win their third league game in a row, as Jerome gets the winner against his former club. Well done to gsy163 for being the only one to get this spot-on, and there were 5 who had the outcome. The weeks most predicted score was on this game, with 10 going for a 1 all draw. IPSWICH 2 READING 2 Where would Ipswich be without Tom Lawrence? His two goals today means he has now scored eight goals in eight games, as Reading came from behind twice to get a draw. Well done concordman for being the only one to get 3 points for this, but 7 did have the outcome. There were 15 who predicted a win for Reading. PORT VALE 0 PETERBOROUGH 3 Two goals in added time for Peterborough makes the scoreline look more comfortable than it was. Nobody had this spot-on, though 6 did get the outcome. BARNET 0 MANSFIELD 2 Mansfield are now unbeaten in seven league games, as they go above the U's, and within two points of the play-offs. Well done to OhOriOri for being the only one to get this spot-on, and only 2 had the outcome. There were 14 who predicted a Barnet victory, with 8 going for a 2-1. CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0 PLYMOUTH 1 A goal from Sarevic on his debut was enough to give Plymouth a narrow victory. Surprisingly nobody had this spot-on, but 7 did get the outcome. WYCOMBE 1 PORTSMOUTH 0 Kashket gets his 15th goal of the season, as Wycombe leapfrog Portsmouth to go sixth in League 2. Just the 2 (wessex_exile and mrhappy) got this spot-on, with another 7 having the outcome. These were tricky looking games this week, and the 1 all draw was a popular prediction in all matches. With no games ending that way, we ended up with just the five 3 pointers in total. In previous weeks when there has been a scarcity of 3 pointers, we have had plenty of other outcomes, to still give members a reasonable week, but not this one. The total 49 points gleaned this week, was the lowest of the season so far. Those 3 pointers were shared by five members getting one each (details in the above notes), with wessex_exile, concordman and OhOriOri, all getting two other outcomes, and sharing the weeks top scorer honour, with a good 5 points. In the Premier, it is now only a one point lead for burnsieespana, though his superior 3 pointers total are worth another point. After last weeks no show, wessex_exile makes up for it this week, by being the only one to get a 3 pointer in this league, as he reclaims the final Charity Shield spot again. On such a low scoring week, it is a precious 3 points that jonestones and Sector4 obtained, as it is that many points they moved away from the relegation zone, as the bottom three only achieved one point between them. After her fourth blank week of the season, last seasons champ ethicsgirl is now in danger of being relegated, after dropping another two places. In Division One, just the 2 points for basher2010, but enough to maintain his 9 point lead. The other automatic place is having its occupant changing on a weekly basis, and as we enter the final third of the season, that is likely to continue. This week it is noah4x4 reclaiming the spot, in what is the only positional change in this league. The good week for concordman may not have moved him up any places, but more importantly got him three points nearer to the play-offs. It has been a tough season for OhOriOri, just like it has for the team he supports, but his good week has given hope for avoiding the wooden spoon. THE TABLES (188 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 27 Fixtures SUNDERLAND v SOUTHAMPTON WEST HAM v WEST BROM ROTHERHAM v BLACKBURN BRISTOL ROVERS v BRADFORD CITY NOTTS COUNTY v CHELTENHAM PLYMOUTH v EXETER Good luck everybody.
