Week 2 Results EVERTON 2 SOUTHAMPTON 1 Everton are now unbeaten in their past 14 home league games against Southampton (W10 D4). There was a decent 7 who got this spot-on, and a further 21 had the outcome, with an incredible 16 going for a 2-0, in what was not surprisingly the weeks most predicted result. LEICESTER 2 WOLVES 0 10-man Leicester beat Wolves in the top flight for the first time since December 1983. Well done to Blue4U2 for being the only one to have this spot-on, though 15 did get the outcome. BRISTOL CITY 0 MIDDLESBROUGH 2 Middlesbrough's unbeaten start to the season continued with victory at Ashton Gate against an uninspiring, injury-hit Bristol City side. There were 5 who got this spot-on, and another 18 had the outcome. MILLWALL 2 DERBY 1 Millwall hang on after scoring two goals in the first 20 minutes. There were 4 who had this spot-on, and 8 more got the outcome. ACCRINGTON 1 CHARLTON 1 Accrington get a late equaliser in the first ever meeting between these teams. That was good news for the 5 who got this spot-on, and just the 1 had the outcome. Not such good news for the 20 who predicted a win for Charlton. CREWE 0 MK DONS 0 MK Dons end with 10 men as they dropped their first points of the season. Well done to medicine_man for being the only one to have this spot-on, though 12 did get the outcome. For the second week running it is points for everybody who turned up, helped mainly by the weeks "good things" Everton and Middlesbrough both winning. So a decent week overall with 23 spot-ons being achieved, that had six members getting two 3 pointers each. Best of those was burnsieespana, who had the wins for Everton and Millwall, and Tropical_Us, who had the Millwall 2-1 and the Accrington 1-1. They both also had three outcomes, and they share the honour of being the weeks top scorer with an excellent 9 points. Two 3 pointers, to give them a very decent 8 points, also for Blue4U2 and medicine_man, who both had the Everton 2-1 to go with the ones mentioned above, and Sector4, who was another to have the Millwall 2-1 and the Accrington 1-1. In the Premier I know this is very early days, but with just one point separating the top five, this could be another exciting season ahead. By having the Everton 2-1 spot-on, RSCOSWORTH leads by virtue of more 3 pointers. Then it is first to post dividing the next three places, lead by burnsieespana, who I would like to thank for his kind words. I am sure Sunday morning will make pleasant reading for him. Last weeks leader noah4x4 remains in the other Charity Shield spot, with Tropical_Us breathing down his neck after his top scoring effort. The other member to get two 3 pointers this week was gsy163, the wins for Everton and Middlesbrough, and he is a point off the pace. After breaking the record for 3 pointers last season thrillseeker is still waiting for his first one this season, and he occupies the relegation places with the only other one still to get a spot-on mfb_cufc. With still no word from Gate16, it is looking like it could be only two relegation places to avoid. In Division One Another one to benefit from having the Everton 2-1 spot-on was Colukev, and it helped him to maintain a two point lead. Up into the other automatic spot is medicine_man, who has brought last seasons superb Happy Cup form to the league this season. Just behind him on the first to post rule is Blue4U2. After seasons of struggle it is really good to see him at the right end of the table. After his unfortunate relegation Sector4 shows his intent for a quick return, and his decent week puts him into the play-off spots. He is joined there by newbies ghughes11 and oxfcolu, who have both had solid starts to their first season. The importance of not missing a week is proved by OhOriOri and Cufc_Lancashireexile, as their no shows has them occupying the bottom two places. THE TABLES (12 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 3 Fixtures ARSENAL v WEST HAM UNITED HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v CARDIFF CITY ASTON VILLA v READING STOKE CITY v HULL CITY BRADFORD CITY v WYCOMBE WANDERERS LINCOLN CITY v NOTTS COUNTY Good luck everybody.
