Hornby still injured, or has O'Hara earned his start?

As Collins is on the bench, I would say Hornby is still injured.

No Sears.

Watching on IFollow. Good move to swap ends. Sun drops very low need to exploit that advantage

Completely agree. I'm not sure if it's an effect of the very low light, but the pitch looks very uneven.

It is was artificial when non-league. Takes years to bed in grass

Surprisingly good support for the U's - didn't think there'd be so many to be honest.

We surely can't be denied today, not with Peter Wright in the middle.

Looks like it's already getting icy again - wonder if this will survive until full time?

Correct. Mr McGoo returns. A penalty. What the heck for.

Maybe not then
Luckily I am not watching the game but do not understand how it can take nearly seven minutes from the foul to scoring the penalty.
Footy ain't like it used to be.

Bad injury to Alan Judge requiring extensive treatment and then stretchered off. Shocking decision though, the ball was there to be won, not our fault if a Sutton player puts his head where Ashley was going to clear it.

Better name for the ref would be Peter Wrong. Penalty was delayed because Judge was injured, and went off on a stretcher.

Oh dear oh dear the minutes before halftime and fulltime strikes again.
How many goals have we conceded just before either the break or the end?
Be fortunate to get a draw now unless game can be turned around quickly something we are not good at

Never mind Peter Wrong, think we might be relying on Jack Frost as things stand.

We really are in a bad state.
This is the sort of game we should be getting at least a point from a team only a few places above us.
Sadly I can't see Bloomfield getting us out of this pickle and this year we are one of the worst teams whereas in the last two seasons been several worse than us.
Humes, Ball, Bloomfield out now whilst almost enough time remains for a proper Manager to get us out

Very busy week no time for pre match assessment.
Didn't watch the game, family party.

Didn't know the score until late second half.

But no shots on target.

Why will MB not play Appiah and Tovide up front.

Grim times.

Alan Judge out for the season

U's midfielder Alan Judge will be out of action for the remainder of the season.

The Irish international went down in the U's area in the build-up to the Sutton United penalty, and had to leave the pitch on a stretcher before the hosts could take the spot-kick.

He was able to return to north Essex on crutches following the game, but the resultant MRI scan confirmed everyone's worst fears.

Physio Hayden Clifton told the U's official website: "Unfortunately, Judgy has suffered a bad one."

"The injury is a triple rupture in his left knee, with the ACL, (Anterior Cruciate Ligament), PCL, (Posterior Cruciate Ligament), and MCL, (Medial Collateral Ligament), all affected.

"It looked a serious one straight away, and we're looking at it being around a year to a full return to playing for Alan."

Everyone at Colchester United wishes Alan the best of luck for his recovery.

Very bad luck for Judge. Doubt we’ll see him in Us shirt again.
