Week 5 results

BURNLEY 2 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 5

Harry who. Son Heung-min scored a hat-trick as Spurs recovered from a goal down to thrash Burnley and continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season. No surprise that nobody got this spot-on, but 23 did have the outcome.

PLYMOUTH ARGYLE 3 BLACKBURN ROVERS 0
Comfortable victory for Plymouth, as they get their first Championship win since the opening day of the campaign. Again nobody had this spot-on, though 10 did get the outcome. 14 predicted a win for Blackburn with 11 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score.

BOLTON WANDERERS 2 DERBY COUNTY 1
Bolton came from behind to beat 10-man Derby, as Tyrese Fornah's own goal completed a miserable afternoon for the Rams. A super 6 got this spot-on, and another 4 had the outcome.

CHELTENHAM TOWN 0 BARNSLEY 2
Devante Cole's sixth goal of the season and a stoppage-time Max Watters strike earned Barnsley a win at League One's bottom side Cheltenham, who are still waitng for their first goal this season. A super 6 had this spot-on, and a further 15 got the outcome.

HARROGATE TOWN 0 BARROW 1
Harrogate-born Kian Spence scored the only goal for Barrow in a win against his hometown team. Only 2 got this spot-on, and another 7 had the outcome.

MANSFIELD TOWN 0 BRADFORD CITY 0
Mansfield remain unbeaten in all competitions after this bore draw, that only produced three shots on target. A final game this week with no 3 pointer, but 6 did get the outcome. 17 predicted a win for Mansfield.

Another week with a mixed bag of results, with a 2-5 to add to this seasons outrageous result list. It is now 8 out of the 34 games played so far, that have been impossible to predict. Add to that we are still waiting for a game to finish 1-1, and only one has finished 1-0, then it is not hard to see why 3 pointers have been so hard to come by. Another 3 games this week without a 3 pointer, makes that 16 games without one this season so far. An incredible 47%. At least the three we did have gave us a reasonable 14 in total. Even though he was one of the few not to have the Spurs outcome, ghughes11 made up for it in a big way by being the only one to have those three 3 pointers, the wins for Bolton, Barnsley and Barrow, to make him the weeks top scorer with an excellent 9 points. Not far behind him was concordman, who was the only one to get two 3 pointers, the wins for Bolton and Barnsley. He also had the outcomes for Spurs and Barrow to give him a very decent 8 points.Best of those to get one 3 pointer were wessex_exile, basher2010 and Jorash63, who all had the Barnsley 2-0, BFG, who got the Barrow 1-0, and bwildered, who had the Bolton 2-1. They each also got three outcomes to give them all a decent 6 points.

In the Premier Things have been very tight in this division so far, with the leader never having more than a one point lead. That all changed this week, as the weeks two top scorers were the only ones to get a 3 pointer in this division. This means concordman takes his run at the top to four weeks, and stretches his lead to 3 points from ghughes11, who moves up two places into the other charity shield spot. He in turn is 3 points clear of thrillseeker, who drops out of the top two for the first time this season. One outcome for oxfcolu, and has to settle for being fourth. Four outcomes for noah4x4 moves him up a place to fifth. Three outcomes for blueeagle moves him back into the top half for the first time since Week 1. Two outcomes for Moor_Pinot means he has to give up the fifth place he has held all season, and he drops to seventh. Two outcomes also for RSCOSWORTH, and he remains eighth. Four outcomes for mfb_cufc means he gets out of the bottom three, where he is replaced by Sector4 again. For the fifth week running the bottom two remains the same.

In Division One A decent 6 points for BFG made sure he remained top for the fifth week in a row. He also increased his lead to 3 points from Daniel, who got four outcomes, to make sure he remained in the other automatic spot for the fourth week running. Having the Bolton 2-1 spot-on keeps Blue4U2 third, and Tropical_Us fourth. By finally getting his first 3 pointer this season, wessex_exile moves up a couple of places, and into the play-off places for the first time, in fifth. The decent week for basher2010 moves him back into the final play-off place, after a week away. Three outcomes for burnsieespana, but he drops out of the play-offs for the first time this season. He is only a point away though, along with Madeira163 and bwildered, who he leads on the first to post rule. Newbie Jorash63 is gradually finding his feet, and a decent week moved him up a couple of places, and only two points from the play-offs. A solid week for returning Colukev, that included having the Bolton 2-1 spot-on, moved him up a couple of places.

THE TABLES (34 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)

Week 6 Fixtures The first International break this season, and we have the only two games left in League 1, and four from League 2.

STEVENAGE v CARLISLE UNITED
AFC WIMBLEDON v STOCKPORT COUNTY
COLCHESTER UNITED v TRANMERE ROVERS
