Durham Pete has been appointed as temporary coach for tomorrow's game against the Mariners.
Apparently he is meeting them from the bus for an immediate workout on the beach followed by gentle jog to Cleethorpes where the team will take on board a breathtaking and physical strength building fish and chip tea at the famous Papa's on Cleethorpes pier. No puddings will be allowed!
Durham will then lead physical jerks down on the beach; a short seven a side footy match before a sharp sprint back to Blundell Park.
Understand team talk will be attack ,attack, attack, score, score, score:and no soppy goals conceded.

I have signed up Stuart my young apprentice to help with the physical exercise for the team.
The beach idea was indeed a masterstroke with strength, stamina and conditioning exercises on Cleethorpes beach before a masterly portion of fish n chips from Papas on the Pier.
I am reverting to the 2,3,5 formation which I understand was all the rage about 60 years ago!
