I wonder why we're conceding so many late goals and scoring so few. Is it fitness? Confidence? Concentration? Lack of or wrong substitutions?
The whole of last season we only conceded eight, costing us five points. And scored 11 which gained us nine points. |  |

We leaked three of these eight goals and lost (at least) two points after a sending off (Barrow).
Given our poor record, I suspect discipline is a general malaise, hence giving away late free kicks and conceding late goals. We need Kellerher and Hall back to defend these aerial bombardments, plus a goalkeeper better than Smith. Sending Hornby out on loan seems madness. [Post edited 28 Nov 2023 7:13]

You might be onto something there noah. The number of bookings and sending offs we've had this season is nothing short of ridiculous. There's no excuse for poor discipline and no doubt it's cost us this season, either during the game itself or from the resulting suspensions. | |
