Anyone know if McGeehan will be suspended again? 17:07 - Apr 10 with 455 viewsRSCOSWORTH

Picked up a 12th booking of the season last night (14 if you include the second bookings that led to a red card) not sure if that means he's due another suspension. He seems to be our main goal threat and will be a big miss if not available.

No suspension yet as DC said that was a reason to sub him last night.

Wouldn't that have been to prevent him getting another red card last night though?

That was the reason, another red card (his 3rd) would have lead to a 4 match ban and we'd lose him for most of the rest of the season. I think the next disciplinary milestone for yellow cards is a 3 match ban if you reach 15 yellows by week 38, so hopefully he's more or less safe from that?

Oh right, that does make sense then. As long as they're not counting the second yellows that led to a red then he should be ok as he "only" has the 12 bookings to his name.

Hadn't thought about the second yellows for his two red cards, but that would be harsh if they were counted - players could be suspended for both red cards and cumulatively yellows if that applied. The other rule is they only count in the competition they were received, but as all of Cam's were in the league, it's moot really.

If the worst happened then play Mingi in midfield now that Richardson is back.

Think he will be ok and was that not DC's stated reason for taking him off?
