After the Round Of 16 produced 28 spot-ons, some tough to predict results in those 1st leg fixtures, could only achieve just the one 3 pointer.

It was blueeagle who got that 3 pointer with the Atletico 2-1, to give him the advantage at the half-way stage. All other members in this group got the Atletico outcome.


Three outcomes for bwildered, the Arsenal draw, and the wins for Atletico and Barcelona, give him the advantage in this group. The Atletico and Barcelona outcomes have put burnsieespana in the other qualifying spot.

Quarter-finals 2nd leg Fixtures All kick-off at 20.00. No more than two predictions the same as fellow group members, and all fixtures to be predicted at the same time please.

All predictions are the result at the end of normal time, extra-time and/or penalties will not count. If any members are level on points after the 8 fixtures, the tie-break rule will apply. As always in this competition, there will be no first-to-post tie-break deciders, only most spot-ons. If they are still level, then a further tie-break will apply by predicting the number of goals scored in the League 2 programme on Saturday 20th April.

Two more tough Quarter-final results, with nobody predicting a win for PSG, and six having the Borussia outcomes, leaving the groups looking like this:-

No change, as they all had the Borussia outcome. This leaves blueeagle in the prime position to qualify for the Semi-finals, though things could get interesting with the other three all predicting Man City to win 2-1. Whatever happens in that fixture, the qualifying is only going to be sorted by the Bayern Munich v Arsenal game.


Just outcomes for burnsieespana and concordman, means the current top two are favourites to qualify. By my calculations concordman is going to require Bayern to win 2-1 to go through, and unitedwhites, by having different predictions to the others, will require a 3 pointer to have any chance of qualifying.

Next update will be after the final two fixtures have finished on Wednesday night.

The final quarter-final fixtures continued to make them them tough to predict, right to the end. Nobody predicted the draw at Man City, though the Bayern 1-0 did give us the second spot-on of the round, and four outcomes. This is how the final groups finished:-

burnsieespana tops the group after getting the Bayern outcome. Although he failed to get a point from the 2nd leg fixtures, bwildered joins him in the Semi-finals, thanks to the three outcomes he had from the 1st leg fixtures.
