Perhaps the good news is that loanees Rhys Healey, Elliott Hewitt and Cole Kpekawa have all been cleared to play in the F.A Cup.
In the previous F A Cup round, Healey was prevented from playing by Cardiff and Hewitt had been recall by Ipswich (but was then unused versus Wolves and Watford). It seems odd that merely a month later they now appear to be out of consideration by their host clubs and hence free to be cup-tied to the U's.
Maybe it is an invitation for the U's to make an offer.........
..... or did Russell Slade and Mick McCarthy watch a replay of last week's performance before deciding?
