The last 6 game week of the season, and what an incredible one it was, with all the home teams winning, to give us the best 6 game week of the season, as we really did go to town. Late goals in three games put a different complexion on things, to give us those 6 homes, and they certainly helped oxfcolu in a big way, as he got the weeks first four games spot-on, to make him the weeks top scorer, with a magnificent 12 points. Those late goals also did Daniel a big favour, as he had the wins for Luton, Northampton and Grimsby spot-on, and the Portsmouth outcome, to give hin a brilliant 10 points. In a week that produced 36 spot-ons in total, 10 members got two 3 pointers, with the best coming from blueeagle, who had the wins for Luton and Northampton, and three outcomes, to give him an excellent 9 points. U'sual Champions League Just a gentle reminder to the two members who have yet to post their predictions for the Quarter-finals. With the deadline on Tuesday 9th April 20.00. In the Premier After having his lead greatly reduced last week, concordman increased it by a couple of points, after getting the wins for Northampton and Grimsby spot-on. The Grimsby 1-0 spot-on also for RSCOSWORTH, but he needed more for title aspirations, though remains favourite for the other Charity Shield spot. A decent week for thrillseeker, that included having the Luton 2-1 spot-on, and the excellent week for blueeagle, keeps them in contention for that second place. The magnificent week for oxfcolu moved him up a coupl;e of places, in what was the only change in this division, and took away any chance of him being relegated. At the bottom, there was a welcome 3 pointer for noah4x4, the Portsmouth 3-1, but with only the Huddersfield outcome to go with it, relegation is looking inevitable. A decent week for Moor_Pinot, by having the wins for Northampton and Grimsby spot-on, looks too late to stop him making an instant return to Division One. In Division One In what has been a ding-dong battle for the top spot all season, it may have finally been won by Daniel, after his brilliant week has made him odds-on favourite to make an instant return to the Premier. The tremendous recent run from burnsieespana continued, as he got the wins for Huddersfield and Portsmouth spot-on, to move into the other automatic spot. This means the 10 week run in the top two comes to an end for basher2010, as he drops to third. A decent week for bwildered, by getting the wins for Northampton and Grimsby spot-on, moves him up a place to fourth. A decent week for BFG, that included having the Huddersfield 1-0 spot-on, moved him up a place to fifth. Up a place into the final play-off spot, after 12 weeks away from the top 6, is Blue4U2, as he got the wins for Huddersfield and Portsmouth spot-on. After having the wins for Northampton and Portsmouth spot-on, Tropical_Us moves up a place, and to within 2 points of the play-offs. All of this means that by only getting the Northampton outcome, Lewis_1 drops four places, but remains well in play-off contention. Getting the wins for Luton and Grimsby spot-on, keeps Colukev as the only other realistic one of making the play-offs. The rest of the league are fighting to avoid the wooden spoon, although by having the wins for Luton and Northampton spot-on, Madeira163 has made sure it is not likely to be him. After only getting the Portsmouth outcome, Jorash63 continues in free fall, and by dropping another two places, has put him into wooden spoon contention, though with only 20 games left to the season, he should be okay. The final one to get two 3 pointers this week was durham_exile, who had the wins for Northampton and Portsmouth. Getting the Northampton 2-0 spot-on took TheRams off the bottom, where he is once again replaced by gerry_us.
