Much said has been continually been repeated by different personal over the last few seasons regardless of slides and PowerPoint presentations.
Much venting by the Cowley’s getting everyone onside, but the buck does stop with results on pitch.
However do agree though, it’s the last chance saloon, if these guys cannot change the mentality within, ( think progress has been made on the pitch ) cannot think of many other options progress.

Think the last month has shown there is not much difference between top and say fourth from bottom. The vital ingredient creating chances and putting the ball in the net consistently.
Next few games are vital in finishing strongly which psychologically can put us on the front foot for the future. |

The much awaited back to back wins well timed at the business end of the season. Played with confidence and aplomb up until we scored and then went off the boil. Had to battle second half until Big John gives us the breathing space needed .
Two nil win, both strikers to their credit on the score sheet and a blank at the other end, ( the two goals given us another big advantage.).
Now need an unbeaten run into the end of the season, to set us up for the next .

Let’s hope the U’s do not pay the penalty of another miss from the spot . Incredible scenes at Stamford Bridge last night, of players squabbling over the taking of a penalty.
Wonder if the U’s players will be so keen considering are recent record from the penalty spot ? |

In 2022, Durham were docked 10 points after Nic Maddison's bat failed to fit through the measurement gauge routinely used by umpires in English cricket.
ECB will no doubt use this latest incident to deduct between 10 which was standard then to probably the win bonus points of 16. The club await their fate. |

A incident occurred during the last game where a pensioner fell down the last ten steps in the stadium.
BBC Essex had an item regarding this 11/4/24, 11-24 am, where the following advice was forthcoming.
The procedures should be - to report the accident to the club stewart while still on the premises, ( take names, get witnesses and photos ) and also report to Essex County Council who are responsible for issuing the safety certificate. |

During the recent broadcasted Mansfield away fixture, wondered who they all were in the dugout.
No doubting the set pieces and retaining possession has vastly improved recently.
But the end game four coaches and a two iPads are not present ON the field come kick off and only only involved in pre prep were the hard work must be done.
That’s where it all has to come together come what may . |

U’s AGAIN pay the penalty from not picking up point with another spot kick miss. Straightforward save by the keeper , something Goodman was lacking not getting his body behind a spinning deflected effort. The two key moments of the game.
No excuses now in the run in, still all to play for, and in our hands .
Will only have ourselves to blame if remain in the relegation places come the end of the season . |

Shocking marking up in the middle of the goal for two free headers. Up until them nothing much between the teams.
Top sides win theses games because they stay in them and don’t loose their composure. Subs had no impact on the game and we fell away .
In the end only got ourselves to blame . |
