With the Community Shield taking place on the weekend of the opening day in the Coca Cola Leagues it is widely expected that the Swans will be at home on the opening day of the season. Whether they will manage the feat of the last couple of seasons of also being at home on the final day remains to be seen.
Plans will be put in place by many people tomorrow on where they will spend their Saturday's between August and May and the release of the fixture lists is one of the most anticipated dates in the football calendar.
The fixtures will be released by the football league tomorrow at 10am, but as usual due to copyright restrictions we will be unable to provide a full list of fixtures on the site. It still beats me how a series of dates and names can be copyrighted but thems the rules even if they do stink.
You can access the full list of the Swans fixtures on once of the rare occasions when the official site will be updated or via the BBC web site is probably your best bet.
And of course there are just 44 days between the release of the fixtures and the Saturday that starts playing them. Woosh! |
