It has been confirmed that both David Prutton and Phil Ifil will be leaving the U's.

Prutton, who moved to United Way from Leeds United at the end of January, has rejected the offer of a new contract and looks likely to be heading to either Swindon Town or Brighton & Hove Albion. In his brief spell at the club he made 19 appearances (18 starts/1 sub) and scored three goals.

Ifil, who was thought to have been one of the highest paid players at club, has been released after having had an initial contract offer withdrawn. The 23-year-old made 60 appearances (46 starts/14 subs) and scored two goals during his two-and-a-half seasons at the club.
