Youngsters Thomas Bender and Michael Rafter have both been named in their respective nations squads for international matches to be played next month.

Bender, who last week captained the Welsh under 17s against Norway and scored in the 1-1 draw, has been named as a standby for Wales' under 21 international verses Malta.

Rafter, who is a first year pro at United Way, has been called-up to the Republic of Ireland's under 19 squad to play Ukraine.
