Will we be allocated the seated side stand with the roof or the temporary seated stand behind goal with no roof?

First away match of 2017 for me

Bit concerned about weather forecast especially knowing their pitch isn't the greatest

Leaving Colchester on 08:33 train and arrive in Newport 12:30 - not a bad journey time and only cost £38 return for me and my 9 year old

Looking at the internet football ground guide I use, it seems we get allocated both.

The covered area holds 580, so even though it'll be a new ground for the U's faithful to tick off, and despite our current form, I'd be pleasantly surprised if we fill the covered seating and spill over into the open air section. I'm hoping to make this trip as well, depending on how the house move is (or isn't) going.

That's a cracking price for the train ticket btw!

Thanks, that was what I was wanting to hear.

I fear the weather may be an issue Saturday if the forecasts are correct

thrillseeker enjoy the game on Saturday.

Latest Weather forecast:

Friday 13 Jan
Max 3 degrees c
Min -2 degrees c
Precipitation 80%

Saturday 14 Jan
Max 2 degrees c
Min -3 degrees c
Precipitation 50%

Snow showers likely towards the end of the week.
Perhaps more of a risk of a frozen pitch but hopefully weather will be kind.

I am looking ahead to the Exeter game the following weekend.
Hopefully conditions will also be kind.
Devon is forecast to have more snow than South Wales this weekend.

Can I trust a weather forecast?

If the BBC are correct things are looking good

Thrill seeker
Have a safe journey and enjoy the game.
Suggests that Thursday and Friday will be cold with snow and the prospect of ice and Saturday ok for the Super U's

Unbelievable - Gwent Dragons have a rugby match at the stadium on Friday evening

No wonder teams complain about not being able to play football at Rodney Parade.

I'm not now concerned with the weather just the Graham Westley oafs and his style of football
