This is the first time mfb_cufc has reached the final, in the only competition he has yet to win. This a second final appearance for ethicsgirl, and she will be looking to go one better than last time, when beaten 7-5 by mrhappy.
If the game ends in a draw there will be a 10 fixture replay, on the following Saturday 18th March. The only rule is no more than four scores the same as your opponent.

With both having four scores the same, this became a six game match. With mfb_cufc getting three of those six games spot-on, he got what turned out to be a comfortable win in the end. Though at 16.45 on Saturday it was not looking comfortable at all, as he was trailing 5-4. Then added time goals for Ipswich and Hull, turned a one point deficit into a four point lead, and the Cup was won. There are such fine lines in this predicting.
So mfb_cufc is the first qualifier for the Charity Shield. If he finishes in the top three of the Premier, that seems likely at the moment, then ethicsgirl would then qualify as Happy Cup runner-up. | |
