The season hasn't started yet so we don't know what our form on the pitch will be but it seems we are already up and running in terms of injuries.

Prosser is out for at least six weeks following another operation last week. Funny that the club announced his visit to the specialist as getting the all clear to step up training but make no mention of what actually happened.

Loft also injured again. For a player who has been injury plagued throughout his career and has made just 12 appearances in the last two years it doesn't come as a big surprise.

Guthrie yet to play in preseason but at least no reports of anything new.

Dickenson now looking at late February for possible return which is a bit later than predicted initially.

No doubt we will add to this thread...but not much I hope.

LB I would imagine that Mandron and Johnstone will lead the line at the Wham stadium.

Guthrie perhaps will miss the start of the season.

I totally agree we do not want to see any additions to the injury list.

I reckon 3 4 2 1 away from home ( or 3, 5, 1, 1).

Johnstone (Mandron on bench)
Wright, Szmodics
Unsure, Lapslie, Slater; Murray.
Jackson, Eastman, Kpekawa
Walker

I say 'unsure' for my last midfield player as it's a toss up between Kinsella, O'Sullivan or Vincent-Young and that dictates which flank. I think Vincent-Young is most likely to play in front of the less experienced but exciting Kpekawa to bolster both defence and attack.

Isn't it great that the manager now has selection headaches and a bench full of rich talent. I can't see both Mandron and Johnstone (and/or Guthrie) featuring together when one only is leading the line. Frankly, I also wonder if there are serious doubts about Guthrie's fitness post injury? But based on recent performances, Szmodics, Wright, Slater, Lapslie and Murray must play.

Johnstone and Szmodics - the new Iwelumo and Curiton? No excuses for them as this midfield won't deny them good service.

Sadly injuries continue to be our most consistent feature.

Kent, Guthrie and Dickenson are three big omissions from the starting XI

Just as well we don't have any more pre season games.

Looks like Kyel Reid has joined the list. Hurt his ankle against Stevenage and likely to miss the Luton game.

Requires a scan which, if recent experience is anything to go by, probably means he'll be out for several months.

Reid is back in Coventry to be assessed by their medical staff and possibly see a specialist. Not good news.

Guthrie back in training and the club is planning for him to play in the U23 game on 25 September. Fingers crossed.
