Week 30 Results

SOUTHAMPTON 0 STOKE 0

Southampton have won just once in the past 16 League games, and are winless in their past eight at St Mary's. Well done to RSCOSWORTH for being the only one to get this bore draw spot-on, and another 4 had the outcome. There were 14 who predicted a win for Southampton, with 10 going for a 2-1, in what was the weeks most predicted result.

SWANSEA 4 WEST HAM 1
Swansea moved out of the relegation zone as they comfortably dispatched a dismal West Ham side whose "embarrassing" performance was "impossible to assess", Hammers boss David Moyes said. Nobody had this spot-on, though 14 did get the outcome.

WATFORD 1 WEST BROM 0
West Brom slumped to their fifth successive league defeat, and with only one win since August, looked doomed. There were 4 who got this spot-on, and a further 14 had the outcome.

BOLTON 1 PRESTON 3
Preston came from behind to beat Bolton and end a run of four games without a victory. Well done to gerry_us for being the only one to have this spot-on, and 6 more got the outcome.

DERBY 1 FULHAM 2
Fulham beat Derby to secure a 10th win in 13 matches and move above their promotion rivals into fourth. Just the 2 got this spot-on, and only 2 had the outcome.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST 2 BIRMINGHAM 1
Forest get their first home League win in seven games, while Birmingham slump to their fifth successive League defeat. A decent 6 had this spot-on, and a further 14 got the outcome.

First of all thank you everybody for the kind comments regarding the picking of this weeks fixtures. With the forecast as it was I thought it was the only way to try and guarantee any games being played, and fortunately it was proved to be correct. As it turned out, late goals in the Watford and Forest games helped to make it a better week than seemed possible earlier, and gave us a reasonable return of fourteen 3 pointers. There was two members who managed to have two spot-on, they were Sector4, who got 3 points for the Watford 1-0 and Fulham 2-1, and three outcomes to make him the weeks top scorer, with an excellent 9 points. Just missing out on that honour was thrillseeker, who had the 2-1 wins for Fulham and Forest spot-on, and two outcomes, to give him a decent 8 points.

A reminder for anybody who hasn't posted their Champions League second leg predictions. The competition continues on Tuesday.

In the Premier That decent week for thrillseeker could be a defining one, as he stretches his lead to a useful 8 points. Though after holding a 13 point lead himself earlier in the season, noah4x4 will know it is a gap not impossible to close. That good Southampton bore draw pick moves RSCOSWORTH back into the final Charity Shield spot, by virtue of more 3 pointers. Another solid week from gsy163 keeps him well in contention for that spot as well. I said last week Sector4 would require a miracle now to escape relegation. Well the miracle could be on, as he produces a seasons best score, to cut the deficit by a very useful 7 points.

In Division One The lead changes again with durham_exile reclaiming top spot, thanks to having the Forest 2-1 spot-on. The good Preston 3-1 pick helps move gerry_us into the other automatic spot, as TheHappyGooner has a week to forget. With Daniel failing to post, concordman takes full advantage by getting his first 3 pointer in 10 weeks, with the Forest 2-1, and four outcomes for a very good 7 points. Having the Watford 1-0 spot-on keeps the play-offs well in sight for basher2010.

THE TABLES (216 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)
