KVY 09:59 - Jun 24 with 6976 views | bwildered | Vincent-Young is on the radar of their East Anglian neighbours Ipswich Town. The 22-year-old defender is out of contract at the JobServe Community Stadium this summer and is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal. Because of his age, Colchester would be due compensation should Vincent-Young, as expected, leave the club.

KVY on 10:24 - Jun 24 with 3397 views | Leadbelly | KVY, Walker and Murray have all declined the new contracts on offer so highly likely all three will be gone soon. I wonder whether Kane would have stayed if the club hadn't been so keen to extend Jackson's contract when there appeared no need to do so. Or perhaps the extension arose because the club knew KVY was off. Either way, we've nailed down the inferior player.

Provided we’ve actually offered KVY a contract (I assume we must have done?), it’ll be whatever we can agree with whoever signs him. If we can’t agree, it goes to the Professional Football Compensation Committee to decide. In that scenario, we have to provide evidence why we think he’s valued at, for instance, £200k, and his new club provide evidence for their valuation.

Sad to see him go and can fully understand the desire to play at a higher level, but why Poorman Road who are in decline. Up the U's

Reliable source informs me KVY and Walker will both sign for Ipswich in the near future. Neither would be a surprise.

My Ipswich supporting work colleague tells me they are expecting Bialokwski to leave after the World Cup so Gerken's arrival would seem unlikely. Today Ipswich have sold Webster to Bristol City which, I'm told, will provide the funds for KVY and Walker. We shall see.

Apparently still hope for retaining Kane Vincent-Youngs services this season. But can we get the deal done and quick. He would be wasted at Poorman Road and it is doubtful whether it would be advancement for him anyway. Besides we will both be League one teams next Season!!!! Up the promotion hungry U's And its coming home I hear!

Yes Gazette reports "we are still in conversations with KVY....and that we have made him a very good offer" No doubt Durham his career would be advanced by staying with us in my mind although I do believe Ipswich don't have a recognised right back at this time.
