No Surprise they are in free-fall and had to try something.

The more disruption amongst the bottom 10 sides the better IMO.

Yeah similar to us, good manager but it looked like they were going down under him, have to put the club first. Interesting that Keith isn't on the bookies lists for any jobs whatsoever (Scunthorpe, Southend, Yeovil)

Am I surprised, no. Ron Martin the Southend chairman is a loose cannon property developer and has only his personal interests at heart. Do not see what a change in manager will bring in this case, as their problems stem from a injury list as long as your arm. So the lad from the academy has no wriggle room as the only fit players are mostly youngsters. Not what you need for a relegation battle.
I live in Southend and when them and Dale are in different leagues I do see them from time to time. Chris Powell was probably the best player they ever had, including Collymore. He is a smashing bloke and unassuming. Is it a bad decision to sack him probably not, is fair in the circumstances again probably not. The turmoil will do us no harm mind.

Good luck Chris you are better than Ron Martin and Southend.

He rarely appears a choice in the next manager betting. Or as an extreme outsider

They've appointed Kevin Bond(son of former City boss John Bond, no relation to secret agent James) as their new manager.

Awful collision around 22 seconds when Humphrys scored.

He's back in training now apparently wearing a protective mask.
