Jon Burns, the Chair of The Colchester United Supporters Association, joined the Colne Radio team and the infamous ColU Lexden Ultras in their Wivenhoe studio. Interspersed with clips from the recent John McGreal interview Jon chewed over the 2018/19 season and considered tweets and messages from Us fans including Tin Jake, Tommo, Dan, Malachi, Iain ‘Boots2Africa’’Finch, ColUPhil, Harrison Tuckwell and Bewildered. In the studio there was still support for McGreal but the decline after Christmas, the alleged lack of a plan B and the accusation of underachievement are all given a good going over. After the main show we all retreated to the pub and widened the discussion with a more informal chat about football. You can hear the second show here where we discussed the booing controversy, fan power, racism and homophobia in football and of course we asked do we have a chance in Lincoln?
