NORWICH 3 NEWCASTLE 1
A Pukki hat-trick means Daniel Farke is the first Norwich manager to win his opening home Premier League game in charge since Mike Walker in August 1992 - prior to today, each of the past seven managers had lost their first Norwich top-flight home game. Nobody got this spot-on, but a big 20 had the outcome with 12 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted result..
BRISTOL CITY 2 QPR 0
City get their first win of the season. Sammie Szmodics was an unused sub again, and has yet to kick a ball for them in the League. 3 had this spot-on, and another 14 got the outcome.
STOKE 2 DERBY 2
Martyn Waghorn's double earned a Derby a draw at Stoke, who picked up their first Championship point of the season. Nobody got 3 points from this game, though 4 did have the outcome.
COVENTRY 2 BRISTOL ROVERS 0
A comfortable win for Coventry, as Rovers failed to register a single shot on target. A decent 6 had this spot-on, with a further 18 getting the outcome.
BRADFORD CITY 3 OLDHAM 0
This victory extended Bradford's unbeaten start to life in League Two following draws in their opening two matches. Again nobody got this spot-on, but a big 21 had the outcome.
SALFORD 1 PORT VALE 1
A 93rd minute equaliser for Salford denies Vale their first win of the season. 3 had this spot-on, and another 2 got the outcome. 21 predicted a win for Salford.
The six City home teams were all well supported to win their games, and four of them obliged to produce plenty of outcomes for almost everybody, but finding those important 3 pointers didn't prove to be so easy. After a decent 25 in the first week of the season, we had to settle for just the 12 this week. Despite that two members did manage to have two each, they were Sector4 and Pinault_Noir who both had the 2-0 wins for Bristol City and Coventry, but it is the former who is the weeks top scorer as he also had three outcomes, and in the context of the weeks results got a brilliant 9 points.
In the Premier After winning Division One last season Sector4 has laid down an early marker in the Premier, with his brilliant performance storming him to the top. A solid effort from noah4x4, that included having the Bristol City 2-0 spot-on, moves the reigning champ up a place into second. Last weeks early leader thrillseeker had to settle for four outcomes, and the final Charity Shield spot this week. The only other member to get a 3 pointer in this division was gerry_us, the Coventry 2-0, that means after just two weeks everybody has now got a 3 pointer. A good effort by all. After a no show Colukev has slipped to the bottom.
In Division One The top two swap places with blueeagle getting a solid 6 points for the second week running, that included having the Coventry 2-0 spot-on, taking over at the top. The three outcomes for Lewis_1 was enough to keep him in the other automatic spot. Up into third, in what was a good week for the blues, is Blue4U2, who had the Salford 1-1 spot-on, to give him a very good 6 points. A good 5 points for newbie brightspurs21 moves him up to fourth, and ghughes11 and unitedwhites both obtained enough outcomes to stay in the other play-off spots. There was another new member joining this week, MattFlat, and he got off to good start with his 6 points included having the Salford 1-1 spot-on.
