Week 4 Results

CRAWLEY 1 CHELTENHAM 0

Crawley get a 91st minute winner as they clinched their third successive win in League and Cup. That late goal was good news for the 4 who got this spot-on, and the 13 who had the outcome.

CREWE 2 BRADFORD CITY 1
Early-season front-runners Crewe earned their fourth win in five games as they came from behind to beat Bradford. A massive 11 had this spot-on, in what was the weeks most predicted score, and another 6 got the outcome.

EXETER 1 MANSFIELD 0
A 5th minute goal was enough for Exeter to maintain their unbeaten run at the top of League Two, as Mansfield end with 10 men. 5 got this spot-on, and a further 21 had the outcome.

FOREST GREEN 0 NEWPORT 2
Newport take their unbeaten run in the League to 16, as they beat 10-man Forest Green. Nobody had this spot-on, but 5 did get the outcome.

NORTHAMPTON 3 PLYMOUTH 1
Andy Williams scored twice as Northampton recorded their first home win of the season. No 3 pointer for anybody here, though 7 did have the outcome. 19 predicted a win for Plymouth

OLDHAM 0 COLCHESTER 1
Colchester extended their unbeaten run to four matches with this gutsy win. A decent 6 had this spot-on, and a further 12 got the outcome.

PORT VALE 1 CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0
An 84th minute own goal wins it for Vale, as Cambridge fail to have a shot on target. Only 2 got this spot-on, with another 14 having the outcome.

SALFORD 1 LEYTON ORIENT 1
An 87th-minute own goal from Salford goalkeeper Chris Neal salvaged a draw for Leyton Orient, who were both promoted from the National League last season. 4 had this spot-on, and 4 also got the outcome. 18 predicted a win for Salford.

SCUNTHORPE 0 CARLISLE 1
Ex-Ipswich manager Paul Hurst is doing no better at Scunthorpe as this latest defeat leaves them rock bottom. 5 got this spot-on, and 6 more had the outcome.

STEVENAGE 2 MACCLESFIELD 2
Stevenage score their first league goals of the season, but still have to settle for a draw. Nobody had this spot-on, but 5 did get the outcome.

The first 10 game week of the season, and these are the ones where the big scores that make a difference occur. That was certainly the case this week, with half the games ending in the popular 1-0 prediction, it helped to give us an impressive 37 spot-ons and an overall total of 204 points achieved. Those points made sure this week would produce some decent scores, and did they, with noah4x4 taking full advantage of those 1-0's, by having an incredible 5 spot-ons, the wins for Crawley, Crewe Exeter, Port Vale and Carlisle, and with two outcomes he got an absolutely brilliant 17 points. This is the highest score since the 2014/15 season when former member TheNet also achieved that score. There were three members who had 3 spot-ons. They were eagledares who had the wins for Crewe, Colchester and Carlisle, and Lewis_1 who had the wins for Crewe and Carlisle with the Salford draw. They both also had three outcomes to give them an excellent 12 points. The other member to have a hat-trick of 3 pointers was Sector4, who had the wins for Crewe, Exeter and Carlisle, in what was a superb way to get 9 points. Best of the four who had two 3 pointers was Blue4U2, who had the wins for Crewe and Exeter, and four outcomes, to give him a marvellous 10 points.

In the Premier Current Premier champ noah4x4 may still have his cricket head on, but it didn't stop him having an outstanding performance this week, and he soars to the top. Last weeks leader Sector4 will be disappointed to be 7 points adrift after another decent week. Up a big seven places into the final Charity Shield spot is eagledares, after his excellent effort. With only 5 points separating top 3 from bottom 3, this rise could be repeated again in future. Two spot-ons for mfb_cufc, the 1-0 wins for Exeter and Port Vale, moves him up a couple of places. After another no show Colukev remains rooted to the bottom.

In Division One We have a new leader, with that excellent performance from Lewis_1 helping him to regain the top spot he held after Week 1. The other automatic spot is still held by Blue4U2, after another decent week gives him more outcomes than anybody in both leagues. A solid week for last weeks leader blueeagle is not enough to stop him dropping to third. Up into the pay-offs for the first time this season is oxfcolu, thanks to having the 1-0 wins for Exeter and Colchester spot-on. Falling out of the play-off spots for the first time is unitedwhites, but is still only a point away. After finally showing some of his Champions League form BFG moves up nine places thanks to having the Crawley 1-0 and the Salford 1-1 spot-on. After an excellent 2018/19 season basher2010 shows his first bit of form this season, and moves up five places. Congratulations to GOSBTS on getting his first 3 pointer, the Salford 1-1. Well done to Daniel on getting an impressive seven outcomes, and though he still waiting for a first 3 pointer this season, he is only 3 points from the play-offs.

THE TABLES (28 out of 280 played)
