Whats all this crap about signing Jordan Rhodes?

I get Sheff Weds looking to offload but he is either having a massive wage drop or QPR are back doing stupid things.

No I think it's big hairy scrotums, the contents thereof.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

walesonline.co.uk is saying QPR and Swansea City are interested in signing Max Watters, the Crawley Town striker. Who knows if that is true, it is the silly season, after all.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

What happened to our plans to sign the winger kid from Borehamwood? He seemed like a prospect. Possibly even an eventual BOS replacement.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Glenn Murray is being linked (loan) would have been useful a couple of seasons ago. Probably quite limited now but would expect a few goals out of him. Might be useful in coaching the other strikers.

Les, Hoos and Warbs: We're not panicking at all and have well thought out coherent plan

Also here is 37 year old Glenn Murray

Disappointed we didn't do business nice and early. It's the 7th already. Given that we had no came since Norwich, we could have had five or six days together already, if they had lined up their targets in December. Knowing us, we will panic buy/loan on 31st - Jack Clarke anyone?

Glenn Murray even at 37 is a massive upgrade on what we currently have

Seems like Ben Whiteman wants to stay up north so expected to go to Preston...

Poll: And it's hi ho

Murray would be a good signing on loan or short term deal. Proven at this level with plenty of experience, Dykes and Bonne would learn loads from him.

Poll: Who’s better?

I'd have Murray here in a heartbeat.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Very intelligent footballer whenever I've seen him play, he's got the skill and nous and a few crafty tricks up his sleeve just like Paul Furlong did.

I think I must be the only one slightly worried about bringing in a 37 year old striker. Admittedly he has banged in the goals throughout his career but is he still mobile?

I suspect that even in his current advanced geriatric condition, he would have finished 50% of the nailed-on chances this team has missed this season.

But would he have got to the ball quick enough?

Murray on loan is actually a pretty good deal imo. He's a great championship record, and until Brighton started using him as a sub only a pretty decent prem record. He's getting on but it's only till the end of the season, and at 34/35/36 he was still managing 12 goals a year in the Prem

He was the subject of a tax investigation recently, no idea if that has progressed or been dropped?
