This is the third season running the Happy Cup Final has been contested by two from Division One. After losing in the final two seasons ago ghughes11 will be looking to go one better, and Lewis_1 makes the final for the first time, in only his second season as a member. The winner will recieve a personalised Colchester United mug.
Final Fixtures They are the four FA Cup quarter-final fixtures played at different times on the Saturday and Sunday, and six from the League on Saturday.
This is a one off game no replays. The usual tie-breaker rules apply, most 3 pointers, and then more importantly the first to post. There are no replays in the FA Cup matches, so scores are settled on the 90 minute result. If any fixtures are postponed, the final will be decided on the remaining games. Finally, no more than four scores the same as your opponent please. All 10 games to be predicted at the same time please.

After yesterday's dramatic happenings, when two late Man City goals gave Lewis_1 a 3 pointer to put him back in the game, he has done it again today when a 92nd minute 2nd goal for Chelsea has given him another 3 pointer. That was good enough to give him the lead going into the final fixture. The Chelsea outcome gave ghughes11 another point, but he is going to need Man Utd to win 2-1 in that final fixture, any other result and Lewis_1 wins his first trophy.

It is CONGRATULATIONS! to Lewis-1 on winning his first trophy, in only his second season. Having the Leicester outcome confirmed his victory, after he had earlier got the 2-0 wins for Cheltenham, Man City and Chelsea spot-on. A brave effort from ghughes, especially with 3 fixtures to go he held a 3 point lead, but in the end he had to settle for having the 1-0 win for Cambridge spot-on, and a good five outcomes. Well done to both of you for producing such an exciting game.
A personalised Colchester United mug will be on the way to Lewis_1 soon, and he will have the change to get another trophy in the end of season Charity Shield, when he will be playing the Premier League Champion in the semi-finals. | |
