Journalism has been replaced by sensationalist nonsense. All this stems from a situation where less than 10 petrol stations out of 8,000 were without fuel on a particular day. As a public service broadcaster paid for by taxation the BBC have been pushing out some pretty awful reporting since Thursday. They have not been serving the public.
It's a shame people can't think for themselves instead of blaming the media
Yeah, it's not like people have fallen for media nonsense before. Look at covid, look at all the lies put out on internet media and people believe it completely.
You over look one basic fact, people can be very stupid, VERY!

Tesco petrol Neath Abbey, shut. The sheeple (and yes, I was one) have run it dry.
Never let the truth spoil a good panic eh!
My lad had to catch a train to work yesterday morning after drawing a blank at his local Tescos, he managed to get a jerry can full, which got him to a garage and had to provide proof that he his a key worker and got 30 quids worth.

The kid behind the counter last night seemed bemused by it all. They have had the usual deliveries, amounting to the usual reserves it’s just that people have gone berserk!
Absolute nonsense it is, Cat. Where somebody would normally call in and perhaps put £20 in they are all trying to jam £60 or £70 in the tank, whether they need to travel or not?
These clowns are allowed to vote!
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

He spot on 100 % Owens haulage company were on WOL today complaining about a lack of drivers. No wonder they are struggling to find drivers, when they are paying only £11 per hour. Greedy b@stards

Their drivers do get paid for breaks, and get £17 per hour for everything over 40 hours. I know that as a neighbour works for them. Takes home about £2500 a month. Not bad.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I called into Tesco in Port Talbot last night, Max. About three other cars in there, no hassle at all.
Tesco Llansamlet was the same Sunday night. No queue, plenty of Diesel and Unleaded. No premium stuff. Looked largely the same in Morrisons Morfa last night too.
Give it a few more days and everything will be back to normal.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I see the panic buying has led to an increase at the pumps as garage owners seek to profit from a self inflicted petrol shortage.

I actually needed petrol when I went and I do usually only put £20 per week in but looking at the queses, I filled up, as everyone else was doing. £48 later I had a full tank and 2 weeks worth of petrol.
So many people went berserk it forced the rest of us, just in case. My other nearest garage at the top of Skewen/Birchgrove is still open and the queues were small today, because everyone has a full tank probably.
Are we going to see it again when everyone gets down to less than half a tank, another rush on the stations? Until the government sorts it out we could see it come in cycles?
