Will it be on though? Still raining here in Manchester. Shame if it isn't after Saturday's victory.

Heavy rain this morning but its forecast to stop by 12 noon for the rest of the day so I'd be surprised if it wasn't on

Alot of rain has fallen good test of the drains now they've been unblocked.

It'll probably depend on the ref. If it gets called off you can guarantee it'll be announced while I'm driving over

It appears the game is on iFollow too for anyone who can’t make it to the ground.

Good. Will be my first live game since I think Dec 2019/Jan 2020, so no commentary from me tonight ( until after the game!!)

Looks like neither of us will have to do an impromptu U-turn looking at the pitch?

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

Bit harsh to use the word "dropped".

The manager did say in his interview yesterday that he was going to have to shake things up in the coming weeks, especially as we are playing on five of the next six Tuesdays.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Pointless thing I've noticed - if Jim comes on for Dorsett and Charman for Campbell, we would be very close to fielding a full team numbered 1-11 (we'd need White in for Clark to make it perfect but thats not going to happen)

I wonder if thats ever happened with dale since the advent of squad numbers?

Didn't mean it as harsh as you've read it.

With his recent injury maybe it is squad rotation. If he's fully fit and firing he starts every game for me.

Interested to see how Ball and Dooley do as a pair.

Why do the iFollow pre match lineups always have him listed as Abraham Dorsett? I can't find anything saying that's his given name.

So bored silly by the game, I found this. Apparently it is his given name.

Another game at Spotland, another diabolical first half.

I’m so bored of this.

Wish I'd chosen a different username...

The fact these are flirting with the playoffs is testament to the poor quality of this division.

Poor half for both teams, both hadn't Come within 5 yards of a shot on target until we gifted them a free header from a corner.

Campbell totally isolated up front. Nothing sticking up there.

Port Vale (h) Match Thread on 20:40 - Feb 22 with 11975 viewsHullDale

Controversial opinion - I think we've played in the first half about the same as we did in the second at Scunny - the difference is the quality of the opposition.

These aren't great, but they are solid and well drilled. There for the taking if we can find another gear.

We look nervous and panicky when they press us.
On a separate note tho, I thought from iPlayer that foul on Campbell looked like a pen and last man. Did anyone else see a different angle?

We shouldn't be playing one up front at home. Every ball forward with 2 exceptions has come straight back. Passing is crap, tackling non-existent, ideas none. Abysmal.
