Seems like only yesterday I was at a Brighton Portsmouth FA Cup game. Brighton were League 1, Pompey Championship. I was in with the Brighton by the corner flag near where the players came out across the school running track. I think I probably underestimated his skill at the time, but Gary Waddock was always the player I thought I had a chance of actually being like.
I played in the park with lots of effort and that's what he looked like he built his game on, therefore I could be him. The fact that I'm not a true copper top, but at least strawberry blond, helped.
