I watched quite a bit of it, Nigeria were the better team and England got lucky. A red card didn't help but it happens.
I think Nigeria lost their nerve at the penalties. It was pretty good entertainment to be fair. I have watched much of this womens world cup but what I have seen has been ok. Even my son (who is a trainee mysoginist I think  ) admitted one match was pretty good and a goal scored was, in his words, a banger.
He normally refuses to watch the ladies play because...they are crap! He didn't get that from me. | | | |
