English people call themselves British but are they ?, its like king Arthur they celebrate him as one of their own but of course he fought against the Saxons, it could be said they want to be one of us, they want to be British. Of course Welsh people are bona fide British, but are the people from East of the dyke really British ?

I've been speaking to a few jacks and I've said that hopefully cullen will be one as he was a different player after a few days with bellamy.

Wrexham on 09:45 - Mar 16 by trampie | Welsh people and ancient Britons are synonymous with each other being Anglo Saxon English could be said is different, being Welsh and being British could be said to be the same thing, but are English people British or are they a Germanic race. Down to people's interpretation I suppose, I've no problem with English people calling themselves British in this day and age but are they really British? |
Are Welsh people really Welsh anymore, you need to take that DNA test. I've suggested it a few times. The Romans really were the ultimate in a diversifying force. They took warriors fromone area and sent them in alegion to another area. There they settled and spread their seed. The whole of humanity is now a "bastard" race. As a result we are what we are which, according to my passport is British, same as you Trampie. Tho I do have a grandparent who came over to Mumbles from North Devon.

It tells me my nation is in a political union that my nation never agreed to. It was forced on Wales by force of arms. The Normans took England very quickly, but the welsh put up the mother of all fights.

At least one of those DEFINITELY wonāt happen. Cardiff WILL NOT go down. Thereās a pattern to the way that club performs and they adhered to that on Saturday by beating Blackburn and getting a huge slice of luck. Really, how many times do you see a penalty decision changed by the ref outside of the PL these days? Canāt recall any though there probably has been the odd one. Few and far between though. As for us, itās not entirely certain we will avoid the drop but more than likely we will. We need to hope for some matches where the opposition have nothing to play for. Fighting for play off or avoiding relegation would be very hard games for us.

I don't care what it says on my passport, I consider myself welsh, ateotd it's just a piece of paper that let's you travel overseas. I know loads of 'british' who consider themselves english, I have no problem with that and they have no problem with me considering myself welsh.

Wrexham on 09:33 - Mar 18 with 451 views | trampie | I identify as Welsh, wherever I've been across the world if somebody asks me where I'm from I say Wales and if I was asked my nationality I would say Welsh. Being British to me is like being European, I don't say I'm European although i am, I don't say I'm British although I am, I identify as somebody from Wales, nationality is an accident of birth and if a dog is born in a stable its still a dog and not a horse, hence why somebodies nationality can be determined by where their parents are from or where they are brought up which is i think a key one as we tend to be products of our environment so if somebody is brought up in Wales, gone to school in Wales, live in Wales, they are Welsh through and through and nobody has to be able to speak Welsh to be Welsh, most Welsh people in modern Wales dont speak Welsh but they are as Welsh as somebody that does speak Welsh, if they dont want to identify as Welsh that is a different ball game, personally im born and bred in Wales, my family the same, I've lived and worked in Wales all my life so i identify myself as being from Wales, being Welsh. If somebody wants to identify themselves as European or British or something else that is up to them, if somebody wants to identify themselves as Welsh that is up to them as well.

It's amazing when you travel the world how many people have never heard of Wales, but say you are from Swansea and they have heard of it. The power of the Premier League. Incidentally Cardiff often draws a blank as well.

Thats imposed mun, its not our choice. Nothing to be proud of. Putin can impose Russian passports on the Ukrainians, but they wiuld still be Ukrainian. Your line of arguement is an own goal. We are Welsh people, our nation is in a non-voluntary political union called the UK. Hence the dreadful passports.
