| West Ham tickets- £32! on 17:38 - Dec 18 with 3564 views | plasmahoop | What's the relationship between tnt sports and discovery plus? The game is on discovery plus, but when you look it up it talks about tnt sports. Id like to get a ticket, but I think that's unlikely. But tnt is doable | | | |

They are one and the same, you get TNT on the Discovery+ app or on the TV channel

While I do use digital tickets occasionally, I'm extremely annoyed when it's the only option.

| West Ham tickets on 18:07 - Dec 18 with 3385 views | Essex_Ranger | Apologies if this is a silly question. But if 2 adults with the higher prerequisite loyalty points totals want to bring a junior, do you have to wait for priority general sale? As the junior only has a handful of loyalty points. Never had to worry before when bringing my son as the away games we’ve attended previously Have gone straight to general sale! | | | |

Yeah you’d have to get in the window applicable for the lowest points in your group but won’t be an issue for this I’m sure.

Indeed. I’ve always bought my occasional away game tickets direct from the box office where they print off a paper one for you in return for actual cash money. The last cup game I attended was Cambridge United away. The ticket was rather nice and I do like keeping them as souvenirs. Trying now to convince myself I won’t be missing much as even a couple of my West Ham mates have stopped going because of the sh*t matchday experience at the London Stadium. Grrr, though. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| West Ham tickets on 18:39 - Dec 18 with 3252 views | Northernr | I much prefer digital tickets cos you just can't rely on the post at all now (Portsmouth still not turned up) but I usually print them off when I get them. I take it from this we're all getting the animated QR codes for our phone, which should be a right laugh when I go in there for 17 of the bloody things tomorrow | | | |
| West Ham tickets on 18:52 - Dec 18 with 3199 views | stevec | I’m getting to like digital tickets when I can easily put them in my apple wallet. When you can’t, and I’m having to scroll through hundreds of old emails, they’re a fckin nuisance. | | | |
| West Ham tickets on 19:02 - Dec 18 with 3161 views | themodfather | 15 nicker??? liberty .... seems reasonable to me as we paid for their stadium and it's upkeep. the 9000 should go easy enough, they need to stay up so likely they play very weakened team, surely we have a go here? we need money from a cup run and confidence , of course no injuries or suspensions from it but worth a go!? | | | |

Fair point about the post and I do concede that most people have fully embraced the digital world now. And, of course, not everyone can get to the box office at the drop of a hat. I guess I’m unusual in that, in my cab-driving days, I’d wait for a job over to Westfield or somewhere and pop in from there. And now I’m pretty much retired I do rather enjoy making a day of my occasional box office trips from south London. I’ve absolutely no idea what an ‘animated QR code’ is though!

Basically. They're standard at US sports now when I'm over there. Arrives on your phone about 3 hours before "face off" with your name and ID on which you have to show as you go in, and the border is animated so you can't screenshot it. I remember when we used to come here to drink.

Should be a legal requirement to provide normal tickets for those who neither own nor want them.

Having witnessed a couple of 'cock ups' with phones, I always try to have a paper copy / some form of proof of purchase on me wherever I go.

Because computers/ tech will never fail or cause problems. RBKC are f ucked because they got hacked recently. Pubs that don’t take cash. These “tech bros” who have billions but no social skills? We are being f ucked by virgins.

Fcuked by Virgins Barrington Bandersnatch III Ladyboird Books As the planet got back on its knees after the global pandemic of the early 2020’s, governments, corporations, companies, and football ticketing systems increasingly turned to technology and artificial intelligence to solve its problems. But who was behind the technology and the artificial intelligence. Fcuked by virgins is a jaw-dropping dysfunctional parable of our times. “Fcuking Hell!” The New York Review of Books.

I didn’t know Barrington Bandersnatch III played for QPR. This is the ‘Alternative Jobs’ thread, isn’t it?
