As Sako was a legend for one night only, can anyone think of any other "one-hit wonders" for Dale? Players who played like the lovechild of Messi and Christine Ronaldo for 90 minutes and then either disappeared into the abyss or provided years of mediocrity?

Mocquet was my first thought, but he actually did alright in the follow up games, just not as well as his first against ?.. Mansfield maybe?
