Does anyone need a train ticket to Stevenage away? I am going with 2 friends and will work out cheaper on a GroupSave 4 if anyone wanted to buy the extra ticket? A standard return costs £38pp and on a GroupSave4 it will work out at £25.50pp.
Why pay £38 or £25.50 for the hassle of train + tube + train (probably rail replacement buses too) then a long walk from Stevenage Station when the comfortable CUSA bus is merely £15 door to door? Even if you have to pay the £10 CUSA annual membership it will still save you £0.50 (or £13 if just two of you). Rail only offers cheap deals if you book significantly in advance.
OK, there is a "no alcohol on bus" policy, but there is usually plenty of time to drink before each game and from Stevenage we will get home early enough for a decent session in the Victoria Inn.
