Young U's progress. 21:37 - Jan 16 with 1200 viewsbwildered

Young U's progress to the fifth round of Youth Cup with a two nil win over MK Dons . A early goal settled the U's down after good work by the U's skipper holding the ball up and Cornish drilling the ball hone inside the box after five minutes.
Fifteen minutes in the second half U's skipper Jones stabs home inside the box at the near post to give the U's a two goal advantage . A fine save from the U's keeper near the end deny MK Dons getting back in the tie .
Both sides equipped themselves well in the cold windy conditions, in a entertaining encounter, with a special mention to the ref who played advantage whenever possible which kept the game flowing throughout.
Another home tie awaits .

A good test for the young lads. Reading U18's included plenty of players who've played for their country including Danny Loader (Hat trick hero) who played and scored for England's WC champions during the U17's World Cup... Another was Nolan who was also called up to England U17's.

Considering they where three - nil down after thirty minutes in a previous round , a great achievement and can hold their heads high .
Best run in the competition for thirteen years, think they played Chelsea , Leeds or both during that run. So who played in that side, Gerken , John White and Jamie Guy ? Can anyone confirm ?
