A few minutes left, we are 2-1 down and have a corner. Sam Walker comes racing up to the half way gesticulating to the bench for instructions, and he waits and he waits. And what is our tactical genius doing? Who knows, he's not looking at the pitch, maybe he's consulting his idiot's guide to being a chairman's puppet, looking up the route to Accrington or finally showing some integrity and writing his resignation letter? What a clown. |

What a good day out, excellent pre match preparation in the Black Country Arms, hence arriving 10 minutes late as usual; Doogies last hurrah; bizarre winning goal in a game played like a training match; pretty solid defensive performance especially from Wynter, Kent looked very good in the second half and made one great tackle, Walker made a few good saves, one in particular was outstanding. Good drinking in Birmingham afterwards plus chatting on the train with an ex linesman who did the Trophy final. The only black spot apart from the 2 Walsall idiots who ran on the pitch for some reason, was our idiot element chanting “Your support is f**king s**t, totally unnecessary in a game played on leisurely terms and with fans who were sociable before and after the game. Trips to Chesterfield, Rochdale and Barnsley/Wakefield and hopefully either Fleetwood or Burton to look forward to - all good stuff. |

Sorry to be negative, but the view from the other side strand is as predictably boring as I thought it would be, and the Scunthorpe fan's contribution if it can be called that really is a complete waste of everyone's time. Why did this Scunthorpe fan bother to participate when he clearly, despite being a similar age to me, has little or no knowledge of the teams who play against the Iron. He's clearly forgotten the 3-4 for a start, you'd think that would stick in the memory!
Instead of just being negative I'll try and suggest some alternative questions and then you can rip my ideas to shreds.

Is it just me being useless? I can't seem to get the prediction thing to work for Dagenham next week, I click on select another match, choose Dagenham and just get a box at the bottom saying something about at least one value must be something or other. I'm using IE7. |
