Reading through this thread I'm ready to learn that Christian Nourry is the head of the New World Order. I think we need football season back ASAP |

Absolutely agree, as much as I understand we will need to sell players to progress, it's important we aren't taken for mugs in any negotiations as you say. Le Fee just signed for 20m (I understand was a clause) and Hayden Hackney quoted for 20m to numerous teams. Both good players but it shows how sought after this position can be even at Championship level. In my opinion there is no reason that JV cannot continue to develop to that level, compare Blackburn A to Sunderland A and it's two completely different players. I think it's also understated how this only his 2nd full season playing professional football week in, week out |

Talking about his attacking output, this might be controversial but is there not a world where he was coached to play that way? To sit at the base of the midfield, focusing on mopping up and recycling the ball. When played with Field and Morgan/Colback during our good runs this season, they would play as "8's" whilst Varane would sit furthest back protecting the back 4. I also say this because under "Betsy Ball" against Sunderland we saw a lot of the potential with Varane driving with the ball, getting past players. I think using his G/A is a bit harsh, I'm in no way comparing the two but no one was complaining about Busquets getting 3 G/A in their treble winning season. |

Agree 100%, also think his profile of player is quite a commodity these days. Seeing Jobe apparently going to BVB for 25/30m. We shouldn't be settling for 5m imo |

Great article also helped by the QPR mention "Only two players have won more duels than Panichelli across Europe's top five leagues and second divisions this season (Jimmy Dunne from QPR and Ebou Adams from Derby County)." |

Okay I understand, I interpreted it as the club putting out false information, which I'm sure some people will think anyway. Thank you for the clarification and I agree. The club should be making the most noise about the positive steps we are making |

The transfer window opened yesterday, so despite this "stranglehold of information", I'm actually not sure this could've come out any sooner... unless you wanted it released yesterday |

It's definitely come from the club as "Rangers are expected to reject the offer" but you have spun this in a completely negative way. If it was a fabrication as you suggest, it'd come back to the player and potentially be a unnecessary messy situation no? I'm not buying any conspiracies and will just take the positives, a kid that we spent 800k last summer has in a year at least 5x'd his value and we are still in a position to reject and rightfully demand more. This after we just tied him down to a new long term contract. As you later added this should be nothing but positive and Varane is a great case study. Came in and really struggled at the start but at the end of the season was showing levels above a Prem midfield containing Rigg, Le Fee and Bellingham. Credit to the player and the development team, hopefully one of many for the future. |

The Pioli link is hilarious, maybe he just likes West London? Italian Stefano Pioli, the head coach of Al Nassr, leads the list of the highest earners in the Roshan League, earning £15.5 million annually, equivalent to £298,000 weekly. This hefty salary places him fourth globally among the highest-paid coaches for 2025 |

Smyth, who is in his second spell at QPR, has another year left on his contract. The Northern Ireland international, 27, has been offered new terms Nothing official about that at all but I'd suggest that him not being in the in discussions / released list and in the recent international update that this is likely done Edit: Also realised (even after my own pasted text, doh) that he still had a year left anyway, so wouldn't be part of these announcements. The Women's setup looks to be one of the things Nourry has put a lot of focus on to be fair. I'm sure their squad will be bolstered up. Last summer they were officially aligned and integrated into QPR for the first time: https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2024/june/10/women-and-girls-programme-restructured/ QPR FC Women and QPR Girls will now be aligned under the club infrastructure of QPR Holdings Limited, rather than QPR in the Community Trust, with the vision of developing an elite pathway into our women's first team. And then an update around New Years: https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2024/december/25/christian-nourry-provides-christmas- It is such a joy to have our Women’s team in our elite training centre at Heston. They endured a number of significant structural changes at the start of the campaign, with the appointment of a new head coach in Danny Harrigan and the signing of 11 first-team players. After a period of adaptation, their form has been excellent: unbeaten in eight matches in the league and making it to the FA Cup third-round stage for the first time since 2015. The eagle-eyed fans among you will notice that we have made it a priority this season to introduce you to these incredible women through the set up of additional women’s team dedicated social media channels and via ticket offers for existing season ticket holders for the select matches that they currently play at MATRADE Loftus Road. In the November international break, our women took on one of the strongest teams in the league this campaign in Norwich City and beat them via a late strike at the Loft End from Melia D’Santos. The women did this in front of the third-largest crowd at Loftus Road for a women’s game in QPR history. |

An attacking left back brought in to play the snakes expansive football that ended up having to do a whole lot of defending without much support. Ultimately 130 games in 3 years is very impressive and shouldn't be understated, a consistent 6/10 is sometimes what you need. Looking forward to seeing if Larkeche and Esquerdinha can step up next year. Potentially Vale too if he continues in that position. |

Absolutely the same. Bailed on by the manager that brought him into his "project" and last summer the club trying to flog him the entire window. Despite that never hid or complained and showed up week in, week out. Wish him the best. |

I can't see his podcast episode with Netanyahu, odd |

There's ways around it though as with everything. Forest owner put his shares into a blind trust to avoid issues with Olympiakos but he's still front and center of it all. All the Red Bull clubs in Europe etc. |
