West Bromwich Albion manager, Roberto Di Matteo. is willing to allow Norwich to keep loan player Leon Barnett if a deal can be worked out.

This will come as good news to Paul Lambert, who has reported that he would like to keep a hold of Barnett one way or another. Although, of course, it will be down to the Board as to whether or not it is financially possible to extend the loan.

Barnett came in as emergency cover when Michael Nelson addd to the lengthy list of injured Norwich City players and scored a vital goal against Leeds last Saturday to earn City a draw.

The player is also up for the extension, as reported a day or so ago.
