Cywka & Bueno Loving Life At Rams And Their Fans!
Cywka & Bueno Loving Life At Rams And Their Fans!

Tomasz Cywka has spoken to Polish newspaper ‘Fakt’ about how he is finding life at Derby County and his hopes for an International career.

Wikepedia lists ‘Fakt’ as a Polish tabloid-style daily newspaper and the biggest-selling paper in the country with an estimated readership of 7 million.

The paper recently to ran an article under the title “Cywka - New National!?” in which Cywka had a lot to say about the Rams and dreams of playing for his country.

“The national team boss is Smuda Francis and he will decide if he sees me in the national team. If you just get a call, I will try to show each workout that I can play in this team”.

“Already some time ago I told myself that if I just played for the club, I will be noticed and get the appointment. Personally that is one of my plans for next year, I would like to raise it, measure up, I'm not afraid to reach for dreams. The second dream is promotion to the Premier League”.

“At the beginning of the season we talked with colleagues about everything, just not about promotion. And today we are high and do even better. We want to win consecutive home games. This is driving the positive atmosphere.”

Cywka also spoke about Derby fans and them singing songs for about him:

“It's very nice on their part, but the pitch did not hear these songs. Our fans are amazing. Often after matches when I go to the car, it takes me over half an hour".

"They wait for us, they talk, they are very positive, even when you lose. Recently, there was another nice touch, someone posted a Polish flag in the stands”.

Like Tomasz, Alberto Bueno was also in a complimentary mood when he spoke to the DET recently about the Derby supporters and their reaction to him since moving to Derby:

"I am very happy here at Derby. The team, the gaffer and the coaches have helped me all the time”.

“The fans have also helped me. It is incredible to hear the fans sing my name because, in Spain, only the great players can have a song about them”.

"Here, when the fans sing the song for me, I feel all of them are with me and believe in me. That gives me more confidence."

The one thing we keep hearing at every level of the club is how well the team and staff are getting along at Derby. These type of articles only go to further that belief.

The Rams are showing a togetherness and belief that every successful team needs and what sometimes they lack in overall talent is more than made up for in endeavour and the desire to not let their team mates down.

It is that kind of faith in each other that may take the Rams further than both the players and their fans could have ever dreamed of achieving in 10/11.
