The Blues boss had been under pressure for some weeks after Town’s plummet down the table to 19th after a good start to the season had seen them reach second. Simon Clegg made the announcement at a late press conference at Portman Road and said that no new appointment will be made before the match against Chelsea. The press conference is continuing and more information will be added shortly.
