Full back Scott Wiseman has signed a new  deal at Spotland which will see him stay until at least the "end of the season". More information online now.

Scott Wiseman has extended his current contract at Dale by six months, which will see him staying at Spotland for the rest of the season. 

Wiseman has featured on seventeen occasions for Dale and has done enough to not only impress Rochdale's supporters, but the management too.

The former Darlington and Hull full back has also stated on the OS that signing an extension to his contract was "no problem" and that he is "enjoying himself" at Rochdale and emphasised how much he wants to play a part in what Hill and Flitcroft are achieving at Spotland.

The news will come as a boost to everyone at the club with many supporters still waiting to know whether the likes of Lee Thorpe or Tom Kennedy will be extending their contracts at Dale too.
