Danny Pugh's return throws up some interesting selection options for Simon Grayson.

Leeds head for their first ever visit to the Amex Stadium to take on high flyers Brighton.

Hopefully it will be a case of "that will do nicely" as Leeds seek to erase the bitter taste of Tuesday's Carling Cup defeat against Manchester United.

Brighton too were knocked-out by Premiership opposition, but it appears they put up a bit more of a fight against Liverpool than we did against Fergie and co.

Danny Pugh is in line to make his second debut, Pugh, 28 has arrived on-loan with the view to a permanent move in January from Stoke. Pugh will give our left-side a boost as he can operate at either left-back or left side of midfield.

My hunch is, Grayson will stick him on the left-side of midfield in place of Ramon Nunez who's form has dipped since he was tipped to become Max Gradel's permanent replacement.

Grayson can call upon Paddy Kisnorbo again after he served a one-match ban, given his recent calamities I would be tempted to stick with Bromby and O'Dea.

During Tuesday's disappointment, Grayson dropped a huge hint that Becchio and McCormack will start at the Amex on Friday night as he withdrew both players when it was clear the Carling Cup tie was lost.

Brighton are of course managed by a certain Gus Poyet, our one-time number two and according to Ken Bates, keen to return to Elland Road when his dream move to Spurs to be Juande Ramos's Assistant soured.

Marcos Painter is available again from suspension, but Poyet may well stick with Romain Vincelot - one of his many top signings.

Poyet shuffled his pack midweek and Ryan Harley, Gary Dicker and Lewis Dunk were all rested and are expected to return for our visit.

Will Buckley is definitely out with a hamstring injury and will join Tommy Elphick and Adam El-Abd who are also sidelined.
