Crawley Keen to Keep Drury Saturday, 10th Dec 2011 17:15 by TWTD.co.uk Crawley boss Steve Evans has reiterated his desire to sign on-loan Town midfielder Andy Drury on a full-time basis. The 28-year-old has been with the League Two leaders since September, scoring four goals in 14 appearances. Evans said: “Andy has played a huge part for us over the last three months and from a football perspective I would love to keep him. “He is a good player and more importantly he fits well in our dressing room. He is a big part of the team spirit we have at the club but I am not being evasive when I say I have not had the conversation with the owners about him yet.” The former Boston boss is also still to talk to Town about formalising the switch, with a longer term deal always on the cards from the outset: “I am sure I will speak to Paul Jewell about his future but only after I have been given my instructions by the owners when I meet them on December 17th. “It is all agreed but that is subject to all parties concerned still being happy. There is a figure already set in the terms of the loan agreement but that doesn’t mean it will happen. “If all three parties — Ipswich, us and Andy — are happy then it could happen but then there is a question of whether we can meet the player’s personal terms. He has said himself he wants to say so it is a case of whether we can make it work.” Story syndicated from TWTD.co.uk Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
