At last we can see where we will be playing for the coming season and look forward to those big fixtures at the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal again.

The opening day starts with a game against reigning champions Man City away from home in what is sure to be the toughest away game of the season and probably best to get it out of the way first rather than have to sweat on it as QPR did last term.

This is followed up by our first ever League meeting with Wigan Athletic this game at St Mary's then another tough clash, Manchester United at Home.

On Boxing Day we travel to Fulham and then Stoke City away on the 29th with a New years day clash with Arsenal again at St mary's

The season winds up with a number of fixtures most of which at this early stage could be construed as all possibly affecting the bottom third of the table bar perhaps the trip to Spurs, crucially for those who arent expecting us to be challenging for Europe, our final two fixtures are winnable Sunderland away and Stoke City at home.

Anyone know how long it will be before Sky finish shuffling everything around? Sunday fixtures are a problem for me to get to and I'm not wild about 5.15pm on Saturday. Used to be so much easier when everyone kicked off at 3.00pm and you knew where you were.

Man City v Saints sounds like a game that has the potential to be moved from 3.00pm.
