Revealed: Plans For Cardiff's New Stadium

Plans For Cardiff's New Stadium

Words By Phil Sumbler, Picture By Billy Williams

Following on from last week's exclusive news about the council cutting corners at White Rock, our man in Germany has today unveiled plans for Cardiff's new state of the art stadium.

Designed to replace Ninian Park and house there vast army of loyal supporters (just over the quarter of a million at the last count!) the stadium should be ready by the time they are officially crowned the biggest and best supported team in the whole world.

It is believed that already the fans are flocking to the new stadium to see it take place and are leaving deposits which will see the grass grow quickly and with plenty of nourishment.

Speaking to a Cardiff fan today in Grangetown he declared "This stadium will be one that the whole of Wales can be proud of. They will of course have to build four new link roads to get our support there and Uncle Sam is already promising us that he is talking to new players. Just look at Gudjohnsen of Chelsea. He told us we could have signed him."

But away with the crap and on with the pictures you have been waiting for - the New Ninian Park via an artist's impression.
