Come On City, Come On City, Come On City, Come On

It's crunch time at the Vetch tomorrow with an early afternoon kick off as the Swans look to end a run that has seen them go almost a month without a win and in the process drop out of the automatic promotion places in League Two.

The right result tomorrow could see the Swans back in 2nd place although a three goal winning margin is needed for that to happen (as well as Macclesfield not achieving the same) but I am sure at this moment in time, the Swans would settle for three points no matter how they arrive.

The kick off has been brought forward to accommodate the Swans fans that want to head to the pubs to watch Wales egg chasing in Paris meaning that Scunny fans travelling will have an hour and a half less in bed as they travel the long distance down to the Vetch. There are no such issues with the Scunthorpe team though who have had to endure five days away with one of Swansea's favourite managers Brian Laws - having stayed down after a 4-3 defeat at Yeovil earlier in the week.

Kenny Jackett has again left Andy Robinson out of his squad as punishment for his misdemeanours earlier in the week. Garry Monk though returns from his latest suspension and seems certain to line up alongside Kevin Austin in the centre of the Swans defence,

Flag waving opposition managerial maniac Brian Laws will definitely be without Andy Crosby who is suspended and there are also doubts over 73-year-old Peter Beagrie, Ian Baraclough and former Swan Steve Torpey.

The term 'must win game' is banded about merrily at this stage of the season but surely there has never been an appropriate time to wield the statement for this game. Defeat will see the Swans 6 points off 2nd place in the league and surely hoping for 3rd at best while the win will put us right back in the mix.

Let's get behind the team, make some noise and hope that this is where the bad run ends.
