Pekhart To Saints ?

Saints could be getting Tomas Pekhart on loan from Spurs.

Saints are in line to sign Spurs forward Tomas Pekhart on loan, although they have competition from Plymouth Argyle and Derby.

6ft 2 in height, Pekhart joined spurs from Slavia Prague two years ago, although he has yet to make a competitive appearance for Spurs he scored in pre season and has also made 7 appreances for the Czeck U21 side scoring 6 goals, despite still being only 19.

If Saints can land Pekhart, then its likely that Plymouth will turn their attention to Bradley Wright Phillips, again probably on loan.

The transfer market could get busy for Saints in the next week, as they look to offload a player or two and also bring in some on loan.

Ant Pulis looks a certainty to be arriving at St Mary's, at least according to his father Tony, not many Saints fans can see why we are buying him, but Pulis snr revealed that he will be closer to his Mum who lives in Bournemouth.

Passing him in the revolving door could be Kelvin Davis who Stoke are still reportebly interested in, at least Davis will command a fee, unlike Rudi Skacel, who according to reports could still go to Ipswich, stumbling block was his wages, but it seems that Saints might cut their losses and let him go for free so they can rid his wages from the payroll.
