Name: Gary Taylor-FletcherPosition: Striker Squad No.: 10 Height: 6'0 Weight: 70kg Date of Birth: 4-6-1981 Place of Birth: Liverpool Nationality: English
Gary joined Huddersfield at the beginning of this season after he had been released by Lincoln. He had spent two seasons at Lincoln and was named their Player of the Year in the 2003-04 season after he scored 19 goals. Last season he managed to get into double figures again, despite playing most of his games from midfield.
Taylor-Fletcher started his career with non-league Northwich Victoria before he was briefly loaned out to Hull. A move to Leyton Orient in the summer of 2001 kicked off his league career, but he found it hard to hold down a regular place in the side. He spent two frustrating seasons at Brisbane Road trying to break into the first team and although he was loaned out to Grays and Dagenham & Redbridge in that time, he still couldn't find a place in the squad.
Gary then had a free transfer to Lincoln in 2003 and was involved in the playoffs for two consecutive years. This season Gary has played a total of 33 games in the league whilst scoring seven goals in the process. He has also scored a hat-trick against Chesterfield in the League Cup this season.
