Birmingham are reported to have a bid rejected for Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair

Sinclair has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer although reports from London suggest that any such move is unlikely to happen whilst Chelsea are still in the Carling Cup,

And with Swansea and Crystal Palace allegedly already in the running, newspaper reports suggest that Birmingham have had a bid rejcted for the player.

With the change in management at Stamford Bridge, there is reports that Chelsea will want to keep hold of their player for the time being and the player himself is hopeful that he can impress the management at Chelsea having said earlier in the week

"Hopefully I can go away with England and do well.

"There's a few Chelsea boys out playing for England, so this will be our chance to show him what we can do.

"He will be getting reports from the tournament on how we are doing.

"We're just going to perform to the best of our abilities and hopefully we can impress him. "

There has been no official confirmation from any of the clubs of Sinclair's own club of the situation regards his position next season and I am sure the Swans, if they are interested, will watch on with interest whilst completing their pre-season preparations.
